Privacy Policy

RealBids is operated by Leaduru Limited ("RealBids," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use realbids.app (the "Service"). Questions may be directed to tos-privacy@realbids.app.

• Account information — your email address and basic profile data, including via optional Google sign-in.
• Job feed configuration — the skills, categories, keywords, budget ranges, and scoring rules you set up to filter and rank job opportunities.
• Bid and proposal data — job details, AI-drafted proposal text, screening-question answers, and the outcome status you record for each bid (e.g. applied, interviewing, hired).
• Usage data — feature interactions, feed performance, and match-accuracy signals used to improve scoring.
• Billing information — subscription and payment details are handled by Stripe; RealBids never stores your full card number.
• Integration data — if you connect Slack for notifications, we send job/bid alerts to your workspace; we do not read other Slack content.
• Device and analytics data — pages viewed, feature usage, browser/device type, and diagnostic metadata, collected for product analytics.

We use the data above to:

• Operate the Service, including scoring and surfacing job opportunities against your feed configuration
• Generate AI-assisted proposal drafts and screening-question answers for your review
• Track the outcomes you record for bids you have applied to
• Send job alerts and notifications, including via Slack where connected
• Manage your subscription and billing
• Respond to support requests
• Improve the Service through aggregated, anonymized usage analysis

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

When you request a proposal draft, relevant job details and profile information you provide are sent to AWS Bedrock (Amazon's managed AI service) to generate cover-letter text and screening-question answers. This content is a draft for your own review — you decide whether and how to use it before submitting anything to a client. We do not use your data to train third-party foundation models.

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting, database, and AI infrastructure that stores your account and bid data.
• Stripe — payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant); we never see or store your full card details.
• Google — optional sign-in authentication.
• Slack — optional integration for delivering job and bid notifications to a workspace you connect. Disconnect at any time from account settings.
• PostHog — product usage analytics.

We use session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your account and personal data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Know what categories of data we collect and why (CCPA)
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

To exercise any of these rights, email tos-privacy@realbids.app. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Our infrastructure is hosted with AWS and may process data in the United States and other regions. Where we transfer personal data out of the EU/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

We retain your data while your account is active. Upon a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymize your account and personal data within 30 days, except where a longer retention period is required by law (for example, billing records). De-identified operational data may be retained for security, fraud prevention, and analytics.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and managed cloud infrastructure. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

RealBids is intended for professional freelancers and is not directed to, or knowingly used by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. For material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email.
